Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your Duosy account and data at any time — from inside the app, or from this page without the app installed.

1. Delete From Inside the App (Recommended)

You can delete your account yourself, directly in the app:

  • Open the Profile tab.
  • Go to Account Settings.
  • Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your deletion request is processed immediately. If you change your mind, you can recover your account by signing in again within 7 days; after that, your account and data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

2. Request Deletion Without the App (Web)

If you have uninstalled the app or no longer have access to it, you can request account deletion by email. Please send the request from the email address registered to your Duosy account (so we can verify the account belongs to you).

Once your request is received, we verify your identity and start the deletion process (including the 7-day recovery window). Requests are completed within 30 days at the latest, and you will be notified by email.

3. What Gets Deleted?

When your account is deleted, the following are permanently removed:

  • Your profile information and preferences,
  • Your memories, photos/videos and audio recordings,
  • Your bucket list items and calendar events,
  • Your social posts, stories, clips and messages,
  • Your notification and device records.

Limited retention: Certain records (e.g. purchase/billing records, security and fraud-prevention logs) may be retained for the period required by law. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Partner data: If your partner deletes their account, your copy of shared content remains in your account; only synchronization stops.
